Wood Campus has just launched its second RIBA-accredited programme. Film-based, it offers an immediate view of the contents with elective navigation, HD videos and technical data sheets. Timber cladding is increasingly popular in the UK, yet architects receive surprisingly little training in how to design and detail it effectively. Charles Barclay, of CBA Architects, shares his enthusiasm for timber cladding, exploring his RIBA award-winning Walk Barn Farm in Suffolk, discussing the importance of specifying and detailing timber cladding correctly, and introducing some of his favourite recent European timber cladding projects. The programme is based on the three relevant RIBA work stages, with design details courtesy of TDCA. At any point, you can complete the CPD Assessment and download your CPD certificate.
